The 2026 grid will regain an emblematic shade this weekend. The Racing Bulls team has unveiled a special yellow livery for the Miami Grand Prix, marking the return of this iconic color for the first time since 2020.
This choice is no coincidence. Yellow had gradually disappeared from the paddock since the transformation of Renault F1 Team into Alpine in 2021, a transition that erased one of the most striking visual identities in the sport. Since then, no car had really brought this color back into fashion… until today.
A nod to history and boldness
With this livery inspired by a summer edition Red Bull with lemony accents, Racing Bulls is not just making a simple aesthetic change. The team also pays tribute to an era when yellow dominated the track, notably with Jordan Grand Prix in the late 90s and Minardi in the early 2000s.
This strong visual comeback is part of a clear intention: to make an impression. This is not the first time this season, as the Faenza-based team had already offered a special livery in Japan, proof of a deliberate strategy around image and marketing.
Miami, the ideal expression ground
The Miami International Autodrome has become a true creative laboratory for Racing Bulls. The team multiplies bold concepts there, taking advantage of the unique atmosphere and media spotlight of the Floridian weekend.

The general manager, Peter Bayer, fully embraces this approach: “Miami has become a special place to express who we are as a team, he explains. For two years, we have used this race to show something bold and unique, and this livery is no exception.”
“This livery inspired by the summer edition brings a vibrant energy that reflects our identity: creative and ready to push boundaries” he adds, highlighting the team’s innovative DNA.
An impact beyond the visual?
It remains to be seen if this iconic livery will be accompanied by solid performances on track. In a season start marked by inconsistent results, Racing Bulls is still looking to establish itself sustainably in the hierarchy.
But one thing is certain: with this bright yellow, the team has already won its first bet — that of attracting all eyes. And in an F1 where image counts as much as performance, this splash could well leave a lasting mark.
