French driver Pierre Gasly continues his rise off the track by becoming an ambassador for the Lacoste brand, marking a new turning point in his growing involvement in fashion.

As part of this partnership, the Alpine F1 Team driver notably becomes the face of the famous Lacoste polo shirt.
Gasly described this iconic piece: “It is the strongest expression of French design: a garment born on the tennis courts and which has become a symbol of natural elegance.”
Motorsport in fashion
Lacoste CEO Eric Vallat welcomed this sporting choice, stating: ” Pierre Gasly perfectly embodies the spirit of performance and tenacity: his international career, his high standards and his affinity with disciplines like tennis and golf resonate strongly with our world.”
The brand formalized the announcement on its social networks by highlighting his determination, his high standards and his sense of refined style, while evoking a natural connection illustrated by wearing the legendary L.12.12 polo shirt (photo above).

A fashion enthusiast, Gasly has never hidden his interest in this world where France shines internationally. He notably praised the influence of Lewis Hamilton, a pioneer in the paddock in terms of style: “It is important to say that without him, things would be different today,” he confided in 2023.
Regular at fashion shows
The Frenchman is also a regular at Paris Fashion Week, where he has attended shows by prestigious houses such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin and Bluemarble.
This prestigious partnership further demonstrates the current attractiveness of Formula 1 with many luxury companies involved in Grands Prix, starting with the flagship brands of the LVMH group such as Louis Vuitton, Moët & Chandon or even TAG Heuer.
On the sporting side, the start of the 2026 season is also solid for Gasly, with improving results (10th, 8th and 6th in the first three Grands Prix). He currently holds 8th place in the drivers’ championship, while Alpine — now a customer team of Mercedes — sits in 5th place in the constructors’ standings.
