The Miami Grand Prix promises to be a major technical turning point in this 2026 season. Several teams, notably Ferrari and McLaren, must introduce significant evolution packages there.
On McLaren’s side, the tone is already set: a largely revised car is expected between Miami and Canada. This logically places the British team in the spotlight… and makes it the expected reference in this technical duel.

“Ferrari has been the team that proposed some of the most interesting innovations since the winter tests and during the first races. “The question is mainly how effective McLaren’s evolutions will be compared to Ferrari’s. We are clearly in an evolution battle before Miami” explains Palmer.
While McLaren starts with high expectations, Ferrari could take advantage of this shadow effect to strike a big blow. In a season where Mercedes dominates, the fight for the role of main challenger remains wide open.
