The Hungarian Grand Prix paddock is not just buzzing with discussions about on-track performance. Since Friday, another rumor has been attracting attention: Charles Leclerc could soon become a father.
According to several Italian media outlets, the Ferrari driver and his wife Alexandra are expecting their first child. However, no official announcement has been made by the couple, who have not wished to comment on the matter.
Alexandra’s presence in the Hungaroring paddock has nevertheless reignited speculation, with some observers believing that her appearance would confirm rumors that had already been circulating for several weeks.
Italian media mention an autumn birth
The newspaper La Repubblica states that the couple’s first child is expected to be born in the autumn. The newspaper specifies, however, that no official confirmation has been provided, neither regarding the pregnancy nor regarding the sex of the future baby.
For its part, Corriere della Sera adopts a more cautious tone. The newspaper reminds readers that this information remains, at this stage, unconfirmed by those directly concerned.
The newspaper also suggests that Charles Leclerc and Alexandra might have wished to announce this news themselves when they deemed it appropriate, should it be confirmed.

A wedding celebrated at the beginning of the year
Charles Leclerc and Alexandra got married in Monaco last February, just a few weeks before the start of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
The couple regularly appears together in the paddock, where they have become one of the most publicized in the championship. Their dachshund Leo, now well-known to Formula 1 enthusiasts, also accompanied them to Hungary.
In the absence of an official statement, however, this information should be treated with caution. Neither Leclerc nor his entourage have confirmed the rumors reported by the Italian press.
Ferrari also shines on track
These speculations come as Ferrari has perfectly launched its weekend at the Hungaroring.
Charles Leclerc set the fastest time in the first free practice session before seeing his teammate Lewis Hamilton finish at the top of the second session. The Scuderia thus confirmed expectations that placed it among the favorites on a circuit known to suit the qualities of the SF-26.
While awaiting a possible statement from Charles Leclerc or his wife, the Monegasque’s attention remains primarily focused on the Hungarian Grand Prix qualifiers, where Ferrari hopes to confirm its excellent first day.
