After two intense days marked by free practice and qualifying, it is now time for the race on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The Belgian Grand Prix is the tenth round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship and promises a high-level spectacle on one of the drivers’ most appreciated tracks.
Measuring 7.004 kilometers, the Belgian circuit is renowned for its iconic corners, such as Eau Rouge-Raidillon, Pouhon, and Blanchimont, as well as for its often unpredictable weather conditions. With its long straights and significant altitude changes, Spa remains one of the unmissable events on the calendar.
What time does the race start?
The start of the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix will be given at 3:00 PM local time this Sunday, July 19, at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The drivers will have to complete 44 laps, covering a total distance of 308.054 kilometers, to try to claim victory.

The Belgian weekend has already offered its share of twists. Kimi Antonelli will start from pole position after another demonstration in qualifying, with Max Verstappen alongside him on the front row.
Several grid penalties have also reshuffled the cards before the start, notably the one given to Lando Norris, forced to drop ten places after an engine component change. Other drivers, such as Isack Hadjar and Fernando Alonso, will start from the back of the grid.
All the ingredients therefore seem to be in place for an exciting race on a circuit where overtaking remains possible and where the weather could, once again, play a decisive role.
