The storm is not abating at Red Bull Racing. While several key figures have already left the ship, a new major departure could soon shake the Austrian team, intensifying an internal crisis that seems to be settling in for the long term.

According to several sources, Hannah Schmitz, Red Bull’s iconic strategist, could be the next to pack her bags. A potentially huge loss given how crucial her role has been in the team’s recent successes.

Former mechanic Kenny Handkammer sounds the alarm: “Red Bull’s decline is quite sad. If I were CEO, I would look at this very closely: all these important elements have left or are about to leave.”

“It looks like Hannah Schmitz might also leave. And it is said that others might follow” he adds.

A worrying hemorrhage

This possible departure would be part of a much larger wave. In recent months, Red Bull has already lost several pillars, including Adrian Newey and Gianpiero Lambiase on the horizon.

An instability that is starting to seriously raise questions, especially since the future of Max Verstappen is also surrounded by doubts. The continued loss of key talents further weakens a structure that seemed untouchable not long ago.

Despite this tense context, some call for perspective. Former Formula 1 driver Christijan Albers believes that not everything should be questioned too quickly.

“I have always had doubts about [current technical director Pierre] Waché. But if you look at last year, you have to be honest: there was a huge comeback under his leadership” he points out.

“A team now needs to be rebuilt. The most important thing is to allow time and serenity, without external pressure.”

In such an unstable environment, Red Bull is now playing big. Between cascading departures and declining results, the team will have to quickly find a direction… or risk seeing its empire wobble for a long time.
