Current Formula 1 world champion, Lando Norris has co-founded a new structure dedicated to junior categories called LN4 Fusion: a passionate initiative that deserves recognition.

The team aims to become a reference for young drivers and to support them up to the doors of F1. It will notably be present in Formula 3 from 2027 and also wishes to enter Formula 2.
The project was officially presented ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. With LN4 Fusion, Lando Norris intends to invest directly in the training of the next generation of drivers and build a structure capable of competing with the best teams in the junior formulas.
The return of René Rosin
To achieve this, the Briton has surrounded himself with several experienced figures from motorsport. René Rosin, former head of Prema, will play a major role within the structure, while Dan Richards will be the CEO. Dan Hazlewood will take charge of British operations and the Frenchman Guillaume Capietto (ex-Prema) will hold the position of team principal.
LN4 Fusion has already taken an important step by taking over some assets of AIX Racing. The new structure will notably take over its Formula 3 team and will therefore participate in the FIA championship from next season.
The ambitions do not stop there, however. LN4 Fusion has also confirmed its intention to participate in the application process potentially allowing entry into Formula 2 in 2027, possibly by also taking over the AIX franchise.
A lifelong project
Norris thus wishes to build a true pathway to progressively support young talents towards Formula 1: “I am a motorsport fan. I have been since I was a child. Even though I love driving, I also enjoy supporting other young drivers. I like watching races and being involved. It’s something I want to continue doing long after my own career ends. ”

The project will also include the LN4 Legacy Programme, aimed notably at helping finance the careers of young drivers and providing them with a structure capable of supporting them in F4 and FREC.
Financial support for young drivers
An aspect particularly important to Norris, who acknowledges having benefited from a supportive environment during his own rise: “It’s very important to me because I know how lucky I was to have my family’s support throughout my journey, from karting to Formula 1, trying to achieve my dream. ”
The Briton also sets particularly high sporting goals for his new team: “The goal is quite simple. We want to build a team capable of competing with the best in all junior driver categories. We have gathered a very strong group of people with a lot of experience in motorsport and we want to build something serious in the long term.”
His own path should notably allow him to bring valuable experience to future LN4 Fusion drivers: “I have myself completed the whole journey, from karting through all the categories, then to Formula 1 and winning the world championship. So I know what it takes and how important it is for a driver to have the right people and the right team around him. We all share the same ambition: to create the best training team.”
A project designed well beyond his F1 career
Norris finally emphasizes the extremely sustainable nature of his commitment. LN4 Fusion is not designed as a mere side investment alongside his driving career: “For me, the main thing is simply to be able to stay very involved in motorsport. It’s a very long-term project. It’s not just two years, five years, or ten years. I hope it will last much longer.”
“It’s about always having a team I can support, a team I can really feel part of, like a family, he assures. Cars I can watch on TV and cheer for. Until now, I mostly supported teams I had driven for or certain drivers. But now, it’s my team, and we can write a story together over the years while supporting drivers.”
With LN4 Fusion, Norris is already preparing part of his future beyond his own driving career. The goal is ambitious: to firmly establish the structure among the references in junior categories and create a true bridge to help young talents reach Formula 1.
