After a sixth-place finish in qualifying in Hungary, Max Verstappen did not hide his immense frustration with the behavior of his Red Bull.

Max Verstappen let his frustration explode after qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Only sixth on the grid, the four-time world champion believes his Red Bull has become impossible to drive.
The Dutchman explains that the problems appeared from the third free practice session and worsened throughout the day.
“For me, the entire qualifying session went really, really badly. We lost aerodynamic downforce since FP3 and it continued during qualifying. It’s really nonsense.”
“I’m just fed up”
Visibly tired of the difficulties encountered over several races, Verstappen believes that new technical problems continue to appear every weekend.
“There’s always something… There’s always an element that no longer works or breaks down… I don’t know… For now, I’m just fed up.”
According to the Red Bull driver, engineers have identified a new loss of aerodynamic downforce, which makes the RB22 particularly difficult to exploit.
An “impossible” Red Bull to set up
Verstappen describes a single-seater unable to find the slightest compromise in terms of settings.

“They can see that something else went wrong with the aerodynamics and that we have lost downforce again.”
The Dutchman then summarizes the difficulties encountered with a particularly telling phrase.
“The car is simply totally unmanageable, it’s aerodynamically destroyed, and it’s only getting worse. You just have to turn the steering wheel for it to completely break away.”
No setting works
The Red Bull driver states that all attempts at adjustments lead to the same conclusion: the single-seater remains unpredictable.
“If you remove wing, you have understeer. If you add it, the car breaks away. It’s simply impossible.”
These statements illustrate the deep unease currently prevailing at Red Bull. While Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes seem to be vying for the top spots, Verstappen and his team continue to search for a solution to regain a single-seater capable of fighting at the front.
