Fernando Alonso’s passion for exceptional cars is no longer a secret in the F1 paddock. The two-time world champion already owns some of the rarest and most exclusive models in the world, but his latest acquisition pushes the limits even further.
The Spanish driver has just added to his garage a Pagani Zonda Roadster “Diamante Verde,” a completely unique example designed by the Italian brand founded by Horacio Pagani. According to several estimates, the vehicle’s value approaches 10 million dollars.
This new car joins an already spectacular collection that notably includes an Aston Martin Valkyrie, developed with the involvement of Adrian Newey, as well as an Aston Martin Valiant and the legendary Ferrari F40.
A Pagani completely unique in the world
What makes this Zonda even more exceptional is that it exists in only one example. The model was specially customized for Alonso with a particularly aggressive green finish and several exclusive details.
Under the hood, there is a 7.3-liter naturally aspirated Mercedes-AMG V12 engine developing about 760 horsepower. A mechanical unit that has become extremely rare today and which largely contributes to making this car a true collector’s item.
The Pagani Zonda remains one of the most iconic models in the automotive world. Despite its age, it continues to be considered an absolute reference among the most extreme hypercars ever produced.
An unexpected detail linked to his family life
But the most surprising element of this acquisition is hidden inside the vehicle. Fernando Alonso, recently become a father, had a baby seat specially designed for his son Leonardo installed.
The child seat notably features the colors of the Spanish driver’s helmet, adding a very personal touch to this already extraordinary car.

This unusual detail quickly caught the attention of fans on social media, where several images of the vehicle’s delivery have circulated in recent hours.
A highly noticed delivery in Monaco
It is the company Mechatronik, specialized in prestige cars, that confirmed the delivery of the vehicle directly in Monaco, where Alonso resides.
In a message posted on Instagram, the company did not hide its pride in having handed over this unique car to the Aston Martin driver.
“A few weeks ago, we were back in Monaco for a very special delivery, that of the incredible Pagani Zonda Diamante Verde” explains the message posted by Mechatronik.
“We are very proud that it found its new owner in the person of motorsport legend Fernando Alonso. It is simply automotive royalty.”

At 44 years old, Fernando Alonso continues to cultivate his passion for the most extreme cars on the planet, alongside his Formula 1 career.
