Italian justice recently made several arrests as part of an investigation into an alleged luxury prostitution ring operating in the Milan region. According to information published by La Gazzetta dello Sport, four people have been placed under house arrest, suspected of having organized escort services and laundered the income generated by this activity.
The investigation refers to a structured system, presented as an event agency, which allegedly organized parties in nightclubs for several years while managing the recruitment of women, some of whom were professional escorts.
High-level athletes mentioned, including an F1 driver
Still according to the Italian press, about fifty Serie A players are said to be among the alleged clients of this network. However, none of them are being prosecuted at this stage, with investigations focusing on the organizers.
A Formula 1 driver is also indirectly mentioned in the file. Wiretaps made public as part of the investigation refer to a request related to a driver wishing to use this type of service. In one of the intercepted exchanges, an individual states:
— “I have a friend who is a Formula 1 driver and he wants a paid girlfriend. Can we find one?”

— “I’ll send him the Brazilian”, was the reply.
No identity has been revealed and no evidence, at this stage, formally establishes the involvement of an active driver.
Asset seizure and aggravating factors
Italian authorities indicate that they have seized over 1.2 million euros, considered as income from this illicit activity. The investigation also mentions the consumption of nitrous oxide, used as a recreational substance during certain parties.
The network allegedly offered so-called “all-inclusive” packages, including dinners in high-end venues, accommodation in luxury hotels, and accompaniment by women, for several thousand euros.
An ongoing case
While this case is already generating strong controversy in Italy, it remains at a preliminary stage. No names of athletes, neither in football nor in Formula 1, have been officially communicated by the authorities.
In this context, caution remains essential regarding any conclusions about the actual involvement of personalities from motorsport.
