According to information revealed about the wedding, the two future spouses have chosen a very coordinated aesthetic for this special day which will take place this weekend.
The two men will wear navy blue suits, and the male guests are also expected to be dressed in similar tones.

Ralf’s son, David Schumacher, himself a DTM driver, joked about this arrangement: “There will be 110 people at the wedding,” he says. “All the other men will also wear navy blue suits. You won’t even be distinguishable anymore.”
The event will also be partially followed by television cameras, as Sky Deutschland and WOW have been documenting the wedding preparations and the couple’s life for several months. This media coverage has notably shown some personal discussions around the organization of the ceremony, including topics related to the couple’s appearance and image before the wedding.

Rare coming-out
The former Formula 1 driver thus became one of the very few former male F1 drivers to publicly talk about his homosexuality, a moment considered important in the still very conservative world of motorsport.
Brother of the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, Ralf Schumacher won six Grands Prix during his Formula 1 career, including three victories in the 2001 season. After his retirement, he remained very present in the motorsport world, notably as a TV consultant and commentator.
The couple officially confirmed their wedding earlier this year in a joint statement: “We are happy to confirm that Ralf Schumacher and his partner Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne are getting married,” the message stated. Both are very touched by the many congratulatory messages received. Ralf and Étienne will not comment further on personal details and ask that their private life be respected.”
Very relative privacy
The presence of a filming crew around the wedding preparations has however sparked some ironic reactions in certain German media, with some observers highlighting the contrast between the expressed desire to preserve their privacy and the strong media coverage of the event.
In any case, this union represents a new important step for Ralf Schumacher, who now seems to be living publicly and peacefully a story he had long kept away from the spotlight.
